The Empathy Manual: A Resource Book for Teachers is an effort to stitch the experiences gained over a period of the last 3 years and a half into words. These words are a testimony to the labour of love that has gone into its creation. It covers the concepts that have been used in Project Empathy to inform teachers and students about the nuances of empathy and compassion. These concepts are designed to create conversations about emotions, perspectives, boundaries, choices, consent, imagination, resilience, empathetic joy and identity. The underlying themes in each of these concepts are inclusion, exclusion, discrimination, kindness and acceptance with an open mind.
